(Irmo, SC) – As Great Southern Homes expands across South Carolina, the privately-held homebuilder headquartered in Irmo, SC has opened three new divisional offices. The new offices serve as regional hubs for homebuilding, development and real estate activities as they provide a permanent place for the company’s divisional managers to grow their market footprints.

The company recently established an Upstate office in Mauldin, SC at 107 Renaissance Circle in the Renaissance Circle Office Park. Two years prior, Great Southern Homes entered the Greenville/Spartanburg market with a single new homes community. Last year, the company launched four new home communities in the Upstate and closed 78 new homes. Today, Great Southern Homes has nine communities open or under construction in six Upstate submarkets and is on pace to double its sales production.

A Clemson, SC operation has also been established where both student housing projects and single-family homes are being developed. Currently under construction is Ingles Crossing, a student housing project of townhomes and low-rise residency halls with an overall residency of 216 students.  Another master-planned development known as Clemson Grove is in the planning stages on a 300-acre parcel in the Clemson area.

Great Southern Homes has also launched a Coastal Division and is actively building single-family homes in Myrtle Beach, SC and townhomes in Goose Creek, SC. The company entered both Coastal markets in 2016. Currently, the company is building within six communities along the coast – five single-family communities in various Myrtle Beach submarkets and the townhome community in Goose Creek. The new office is located at 267 Willbrook Blvd, Suite C, Pawleys Island, SC.

Great Southern Homes builds in over 70 active subdivisions in metro markets throughout SC and Georgia and has ambitious plans to expand into new markets while growing its footprint in existing markets. The company builds GreenSmart homes that are energy-efficient, “smart” and designed for today’s cost-conscious and technology-savvy buyers. With price points starting at $150,000 and up, there is something to fit every budget. For more information on the company, please visit
